What is this?
A two-day seminar in the European Parliament in Brussels (held in English language) where 30 students from across Europe discuss their visions and ideas of the future European Union with European liberal politicians and representatives of European liberal think tanks.
Who can participate?
Students from all universities from all academic backgrounds and European countries, no older than 30 years of age. Students who participate for the first time in the liberal academy will be given priority in the selection process.
How can I participate?
Essay competition: We ask you to write a snappy statement in English of max. 500 words on: “Is there a better way for Europe? Break-up or superstate?” and send it to olivia@eldr.eu with subject line “Liberal academy 2012” by 02 July 2012. (Please attach also a short CV to your email)
How will participants be notified?
Selected participants will be notified by 15 July 2012. Accommodation (three nights), board and travel expenses of up to 200 € will be provided for 30 selected participants.
