As the 2019 European elections come closer in time, the preparations are starting to take shape. That is why last week ALDE Party President Hans van Baalen MEP travelled to Talllinn, Estonia to plan the drafting of the 2019 election manifesto with former Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas. The outcome of the meeting will be discussed in the upcoming ALDE Party Bureau meeting on the fringe of the ALDE Party Council meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
During his visit to Estonia, the ALDE Party President also met with the current Prime Minister of Estonia Jüri Ratas to discuss the upcoming Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union as well as other matters such as digitalisation, modern economy and the future of Europe.
Hans van Baalen MEP also took the chance to meet with Hanno Pevkur, leader of ALDE member party Reform Party, elected in January 2017.
