Coinciding with the start of the political season, the ALDE Party is delighted to welcome a new trainee at the Political Unit of the ALDE Party Secretariat: Roberta Brumana from Bergamo, Italy.
After obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in International Relations at La Sapienza University of Rome, she moved to London to study a Master's degree in EU politics, from which she graduated with a specialisation in Integration and Forms of Governance in the EU in 2016. After that, she moved to Brussels to be a Schuman trainee at the European Parliament Secretariat of the Committee of Legal Affairs and later an intern at Assonime, the Italian Association of joint Stock Companies.
Brumana shared her motivation about her internship at the ALDE Party: " When I saw the Political Assistant position advertisement at the ALDE Party, I immediately thought that it had been created for me. It combined my professional skills and personal interests. Getting this internship means having the opportunity to enter into the real world of politics in Europe and beyond. That is something that I have dreamt since my International Relations studies or even before, during my high school years where, studying ancient Greek and Latin and the political philosophy of their societies, I was already fascinated by their political systems’ functioning. I still cannot believe that I am here now. I know my adventure at the ALDE Party will be as fascinating as challenging, but I love challenges and I am ready to proactively face it."

Welcome to the ALDE Party, Roberta!
