ALDE wins in Finland
With all votes counted in the parliamentary elections in Finland, ALDE Party member Suomen Keskusta has become the country’s largest party, Svenska Folkpartiet has recorded their best score since 1991 and Åländsk Center won the sole MP seat by a large margin.

RPR-PARNAS to join forces with Alexei Navalny for 2016 Russian elections
Following the dreadful murder earlier this year of Boris Nemtsov, two opposition parties in Russia have agreed to unite ahead of parliamentary elections in 2016. RPR-PARNAS, the party founded by Mr Nemtsov and an ALDE Party member party since October 2008, will join forces with the Party of Progress.

Final reminder: Individual members to discuss EU free movement
For the first time, individual members from north western Europe - the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, France and Belgium will gather on Saturday 25 April in Maastricht to discuss free movement in the European Union. Individual members can register their participation until Thursday!
