ALDE Party President urges Greek citizens to vote yes on Sunday

Venstre's Lars Løkke Rasmussen is Denmark's new Prime Minister
With Lars Løkke Rasmussen of ALDE Party member Venstre as the new Prime Minister of Denmark, ALDE Party now has 7 seats at the European Council table. Sworn into office on Sunday morning, the new Prime Minister leads a government of 17 ministers, all from Venstre.
ALDE Party meets for pre summit meeting ahead of European Council
Last Thursday, an ALDE Party Pre-Summit meeting was held in Brussels. The crisis in the Mediterranean, the need for a European agenda on migration, the situation of Greece and the forthcoming British referendum on EU membership were discussed at the meeting.
Liberal wins crucial mayoral race in Moldova
On Sunday, the second round of the Moldovan local elections were held, including i.a. the important run-off in the country’s capital Chisinau, which for the last two mandates has been held by Liberal Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca of ALDE Party member Partidul Liberal.

On Monday, ALDE Party Vice-President Angelika Mlinar, welcomed about 100 guests in Vienna to discuss topical European issues with the participation of NEOS party leader Matthias Strolz and Christian Lindner, the chairman of FDP.
Individual members meet in France
On Tuesday in Paris, individual members from France had the chance to exchange views on important questions such as population growth, climate change and energy security, while also discussing the recent developments in Greece and its consequences for the rest of the European Union.
Liberals participate in Pride parades across Europe
Last weekend, ALDE Party member parties, individual members and sympathisers marched for equality at various Pride parades across Europe. ALDE Party's Liberals 4 Equality page on Facebook shared pictures and reports from Barcelona, Berlin, Dublin, London, Paris, Sofia.
