Sir Graham Watson joins the launch of the #StrongerIn campaign
ALDE Party President Sir Graham Watson joined the launch of the "Britain Stronger in Europe" campaign on Monday in London, aiming to convince voters that the UK should remain in the European Union. "I hope the UK's political elite recognises the scale of the task ahead,’’ he said.

NEOS wins in Vienna
Following a polarised election campaign for the city council of Vienna, regarded as regional parliamentary elections, ALDE Party member NEOS succeeded in entering the Parliament with 6.2%. NEOS is the first new political party in 20 years having achieved this.

PARNAS pay tribute and remember Boris Nemtsov on his birthday
On 9 October, ALDE Party members PARNAS and YABLOKO paid their respects on the occasion of the birthday of Boris Nemtsov, who would have turned 56. The respective leaderships of the parties laid flowers near the spot where Boris Nemtsov was murdered.

Former President of the European Liberal Democrats Annemie Neyts-Uyttebroeck welcomes the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the Tunisian Quartet. As chief observer of the EU's electoral observation mission in Tunisia last autumn, Mrs. Neyts spent several weeks in the country.
