Liberal Prime Ministers and European Commissioners met in Brussels on Saturday 29 April ahead of the Special European Council Summit on Article 50 of the same day. Crucial topics were discussed such as the draft guideline for Brexit negotiations and the French presidential election.

Last weekend’s Congress marked the start of FDP's final phase for the important upcoming regional elections in the coming two weeks that promise to yield good results. More than 2,000 delegates and guests intensely debated and adopted the electoral program for the national elections on 24 September.
This past weekend, 27-30 April, our European Women's Academy for political leadership and campaigning met for its second session. The 14 participants had trainings on media, fundraising and canvassing as well as personal mentoring to fine tune their campaign messages and strategy.
On 1 May International Workers' Day Belgian member party Mouvement Réformateur traditionally hosts a political event. MR's President Olivier Chastel said: "By creating employment we are strenghtening our social security and thus proving that we are a real solidarity party."
