#ALDEact launched to counter Twitter ad ban

With the breaking news of Twitter banning all political advertising world-wide from 22 November onwards, the ALDE Party has launched a specific hashtag – #ALDEact – that will help our followers and supporters stay up-to-date on the latest ALDE act campaigns and other party activities.

While we understand the point behind Twitter’s decision, we fear it’s not a strategy thought through. This kind of decision will only favour the well-established parties, the parties that can already use their huge platforms to spread their messages. But how will our smaller parties, those who are actually making a huge political difference, survive?

By following the hashtag #ALDEact on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, you can make sure that you receive the latest news and views and help us to share the liberal message – and know when to take action!

And don’t forget to subscribe to our email campaigns!
