A translated version of the book of former ALDE Party President Sir Graham Watson "Building a Liberal Europe: the ALDE Project" was presented in Sofia at an ALDE/MRF/ELF conference on Friday 13 December.

The event brought together for a panel discussion Sir Graham Watson, former MEP and ALDE Party President, Mustafa Karadayi, the leader of MRF Bulgaria, Ilhan Kyuchyuk MEP, ALDE Party Vice President and King Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha II the former liberal Prime Minister of Bulgaria.

Additionally, Daniel Kaddik, Executive Director of the European Liberal Forum, Katalin Cseh MEP and Daniel Berg, ALDE Party Vice-President, Radu Mihail, Senator USR Romania, Adrian Vazquez Lazara, International secretary Ciudadanos Spain, Petya Dyulgerova, FNF - South-East Europe Project Coordinator, and Antoaneta Asenova, LYMEC Bureau member, took part in the discussions.

The event was attended by more than 150 people and prompted a vigorous discussion on the lessons learned and ideas for the future for the liberals, which was followed by book signing by the author.
