"Manfred Weber? No go!" says ALDE Party President

During the VVD Europe Day on Saturday 8 September in The Hague, ALDE Party President Hans van Baalen MEP called to stop the backroom deals of the European People's Party (EPP), of which the Dutch CDA and Hungarian Viktor Orban are members.

"Now the Group leader of the EPP Manfred Weber MEP aims to replace Commission President Juncker? That's too much. The European Liberals and Democrats of ALDE along with others such as En Marche of French President Marcron have to stop the backroom deals of the EPP.Manfred Weber? No go!," Hans van Baalen stated.
