Acció validates three electoral candidacies

On 12 February, Acció, one of ALDE Party’s members in Andorra, held an Extraordinary General Assembly to validate their electoral lists ahead of the general elections on 2 April.

During the Assembly, the proposed lists were approved by acclamation. The national list will be headed by three women, a fact unprecedented in Andorran politics. Judith Pallarés, Head of the list and Party Leader, is accompanied by Noelia Souque and Agustina Grandvallet, respectively.

The party will also run with two regional lists. In La Massana, Acció will present a list together with two independents in the alternate positions. The two eligible candidates are former communal minister Josep Fusté and Rebeca Roger.

In Escaldes-Engordany the party will compete together with Democrats. As a result of this agreement, Acció will occupy number two on the list, with Marc Magallon and Laura Mas de la Rosa as last substitute.

Pallarés, stressed that the party strives for renewal and inclusion ahead of these elections and aims to have people from across Andorra represented on the lists. She also remarked "we have a lot of work ahead of us to have parliamentary representation, but at the same time this is a very exciting challenge".
