Elections to become the next Council delegate for the ALDE Party’s individual members section (AIM) took place from Monday 1 November to Sunday 7 of November. The results are in, and Diana Severati will be representing the AIM on the party’s next Council in Rome on 10-11 December.
The ALDE Party Council – the party’s second-highest decision-making body – meets twice a year to discuss matters such as applications for membership by national political parties, membership fees, the party’s annual budget and accounts. Individual members are represented at the ALDE Party Council by the elected Council delegate.
Our congratulations go to Diana in being elected as Council delegate and we wish her the best of luck in her duties as a representative of the AIM for Europe community!
In her motivation paragraph for running as Council delegate she wrote:
“I have knowledge of the matters discussed by the ALDE Party Council and I have experience as party Council delegate (Zurich 2019). I live in Rome, where the next Council will take place. My commitment is to contribute to strengthening the voice of the Individual Members and this is a chance to make AIM heard in the second decision-making body of the ALDE Party.”
If you want to find out more about what our AIM community does and get to participate in exclusive events, workshops, trainings and working groups, make sure to sign up and join either as an Individual Member or as a Liberal Associate today!
