At the end of next week, from 26 to 28 May, liberals will gather in Stockholm, Sweden, for our annual Congress. Taking place for the 43rd time, the event is an opportunity for Europe’s liberals to discuss and debate a range of issues, including climate change, Europe’s changing security situation, and more.
Participants will also hear more about the drafting process of the ALDE Party manifesto and the revision of the Stuttgart declaration, and they will have the opportunity to watch She Will Be Heard documentary which premiered earlier this month. Elections to the ALDE Party Bureau will also be held.
Hosted by our co-presidents Senator Timmy Dooley and Ilhan Kyuchyuk MEP, the participants will include high-level liberals such as European Commission Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager and Vice-President Věra Jourová, as well as several national ministers and member party leaders, including Muharrem Demirok (Centerpartiet) and Johan Pehrson (Liberalerna).
Some of the Congress sessions will also be live-streamed on our Youtube channel, so if you can’t join us in Stockholm, make sure to follow us online!
