ALDE individual members surveyed

At the end of March, the ALDE Party Secretariat sent out a survey to individual members with various questions about individual membership and how to improve the ALDE Individual Members programme. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey and provide us with valuable feedback!

The results revealed that the most common reason for people to become a member include supporting liberalism in Europe and meeting like-minded individuals. Following on that, many members stated that they wish to participate in more events both locally and cross-border, online and offline. Many respondents would also like to get to know the other members better and to take part in creating resolutions and proposals. The majority of respondents also felt satisfied about their membership overall and plan on renewing their membership.

Some suggestions included having more local events and online events, creating working groups, making better use of Slack and Facebook and being more proactive rather than reactive.

The full report of the survey will be sent to all individual members by email on 8 May.

If you’re not an individual member yet but want to ensure you have your say and to meet like-minded individuals from across Europe, join us here!
