This weekend, our members Sophie in 't Veld, Marietje Schaake and Nathalie Griesbeck wrote to the US Senate raising concerns about the appointment of Gina Haspel as CIA director, who reportedly oversaw torture at a CIA site in Thailand, ahead of her confirmation hearing on Wednesday.
We believe this appointment could damage transatlantic cooperation in the security field.
