In their end of the year message, ALDE Party Acting Co-Presidents Timmy Dooley and Ilhan Kyuchyuk share holiday greetings and best wishes with the European liberal family.

2021 has been a year of both sad moments and challenges as well as great successes for liberals, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our societies in Europe and beyond. However in their message, Dooley and Kyuchyuk look back on the year and congratulate liberals for various milestones reached, ahead of a well-deserved holiday break.

Reflecting on both 2021 and the new year ahead Kyuchyuk says:
“Happy Holidays! Keep your fight for liberalism, for a prosperous European Union and take some time to rest.”

In his greeting, Dooley adds:
“Happy Holidays to all our liberal friends in Europe across Europe and to a wider field! Thank you for your work during this year. You now deserve a well-deserved break. Enjoy!”
