Last week, we welcomed Jan-Gert Zevenbergen as the ALDE Party Secretariat’s new Events Trainee. He will take care of assisting the events team in the organisation of party events, including large-scale events such as the Party Council in Bucharest this October.
A Dutch national, Jan-Gert joins us after completing a postgraduate course in Comparative Politics at Radboud University in the Netherlands.
Jan-Gert is not a stranger to the liberal family, as he is part of ALDE Party member D66 in his hometown of Enschede as well as a member of the party’s youth wing Jonge Democraten.
