Last week, we welcomed Emine Bekir as the ALDE Party Secretariat’s new Trainee. She will support the 2024 Campaign team ahead of the European elections and assist with preparations for campaign events. 

Emine is a French national with Bulgarian and Turkish origins and joins us after completing the first year of her Master’s degree in Public Policy at Sciences Po in Paris. 

Over the next few months, Emine looks forward to expanding her expertise of European politics and putting her theoretical knowledge to full use in the liberal election campaign. 

She said: “Specialised mainly in French public affairs, doing an internship in the ALDE Party campaign unit is a unique opportunity to take part in the upcoming European elections and gain professional experience in a multicultural environment. My main objective is to meet all challenges and take responsibility by representing the values ​​of the ALDE Party.”
