On 8 March 2021, International Women’s Day, ALDE Party is proud to announce the launch of The Alliance Of Her of Europe’s leading platform for liberal women to lead and succeed in politics.

The Alliance Of Her empowers women in Europe to pursue their political ambitions, champions their efforts every step of the way, mobilises to dismantle the barriers that stand in their path and fights every day for a future shaped by their voices.

Building on the success of the European Women’s Academy (2016-2020) programme, The Alliance Of Her will deliver world-leading academies for talented, ambitious liberal women, harness the collective power of our growing alumnae and allies’ network and advocate towards a more gender equal European politics, in partnership with European Liberal Forum and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.

As liberals, we believe that greater and more diverse representation of women in leadership and decision-making is a crucial matter of fairness and justice. With The Alliance Of Her, we are changing the conversation from parity to power, and valuing women’s leadership to solve the greatest challenges of our time.
