Building on the success of the Alliance Of Her Academy’s first ever 'Youth' class in 2022, the Alliance Of Her is pleased to announce the first-ever Youth Summer Retreat for liberal women under 30.
 
The retreat will take place on 6-9 July 2023 in Belgium, and aims to support young, talented and ambitious women already involved in liberal politics across Europe by sharing ideas, insights and our wider network of experts and alumnae with participants to accelerate their political journeys. Over three days, participants will explore strategies and techniques of political leadership, get inspired by guest speakers, meet other like-minded women in politics from around Europe, with the time and space to reflect and develop their aspirations in a supportive and enabling environment.   
 
The deadline for submitting applications is 27 February 2023.  A nomination letter by an ALDE Member party is highly recommended and should arrive prior to the deadline.

The Alliance Of Her Academy benefits from generous support of our partners, including the European Parliament. As such, all participants must meet strict eligibility criteria, in addition to demonstrating clear leadership talent and ambition. Participants are also informed of the prohibition to run in an election campaign during the academy or up to 12 months after the termination of the program. If this condition is not respected, participants will be required to cover costs independently or with a ‘substantial’ contribution from their political party.
