Alongside Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, the Democratic Party (DP) stands for social and liberal values to achieve economic, social and environmental justice for all citizens in Luxembourg. The party defends fundamental freedoms and stand for a united and peaceful Europe.

After implementing many electoral promises such as free public transport, a more flexible and better paid parental leave and free and improved care services, the party wants to put plans in place more flexible working hours, teleworking and co-working spaces close to people’s homes, and fair taxes.
