Centre Party, founded in 1991, is a centrist political party in Estonia, which aims to guarantee Estonia’s independence and sovereignty, a secure European welfare state and a dignified life with respect of fundamental values. Centre party self-defines as the party of the liberal middle class with humanistic goals aiming to bring democratic reforms. Historically, the party has been the most popular among Russian-speaking citizens. Currently, Centre Party is one of the two largest political parties in Estonia.
