On 29 March, the Council of the Estonian Centre Party approved the electoral list for the European elections that will take place on 26 May.
Leading the list is Yana Toom MEP, followed by Enn Eesmaa, a member of the Riigikogu and Vice-Chairman of the party, and Aadu Must, Chairman of Tarty City Council and former MP.
During the Council, party leader Jüri Ratas called for the support of the electorate to obtain the strongest possible result in the upcoming elections.
He said: “The voters have always strongly supported the Center Party and trusted us to represent Estonia's interests in Europe. In previous elections, we received more than 73,000 votes. We definitely want to continue standing up for the principle of a strong, solid and united Europe, and I believe that the voters will support our goals.”
