EWA Class of 2019 meets for their first session

From 5 to 8 September, 17 talented, liberal female politicians elected for this years European Women’s Academy (EWA) met in Fürstenberg/Havel, Germany, for an intensive training session that covered topics ranging from social media and fundraising to speaking and using data in campaigning.

The participants also had the opportunity to speak with an EWA Alumna Marie Bjerre, the ALDE Party Vice-President and former campaign manager of D66 Annelou van Egmond and Anne Brasseur, former president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, former Luxembourg minister and trustee of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.

The group will meet for the next time in Belgium at the end of November.

This first session was organised by the European Liberal Forum and supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation in cooperation with the ALDE Party.
