FNF Europe launches the fifth edition of the Animate Europe contest

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation Europe has launched the fifth edition of its biannual comic competition Animate Europe!

This year’s competition theme ‘Restart! – The Streets of Europe’ focuses on where it all begins: the public. From European citizens, their realities and priorities to their biggest fears and wildest hopes, the participants will be challenged to explore Europe’s options for transformation, at a time of unprecedented challenges such as COVID-19 and rising populism.

The competition is open to everyone. To participate, you will have to submit three one page comics following the rules of participation by 6 December 2020.

Finalists will be invited to an award ceremony organised by the FNF Europe at the Belgian Comic Strip Center, Brussels, in June 2021. Their works will be featured in a printed comic book publication as well as in an international travel exhibition.

For more information on the competition, visit the website of FNF Europe and follow them on FacebookTwitter and Instagram
