Two core values guide GLAS' (Civic Liberal Alliance) political activity: individual freedom and green development. The party stands for an open, tolerant and secular society and state; the measure of any policy is personal freedom and equal rights and opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background and personal choices. 

GLAS is also a green party: environmental protection and the fight against climate change is not just a necessity, it is also a chance to build a successful economy and development on entirely new foundations. They call for an economy that is capable of securing wellbeing and affluence for people across Europe, without jeopardising the future of generations to come.
