Then, the country coordinator of ALDE's individual members in Greece, Menelaos Spyrakos, took the floor stressing the need to give more degrees of freedom to self-government to face the challenges of tomorrow and to find that the present Greek government is depriving freedoms of centralised governance models.
Finally, the District Governor of Central Greece, Kostas Bakoyannis, stated that self-government has the obligation to find ways to improve the lives of citizens even where the central administration does not allow it.
The whole event was co-ordinated by the Chair of the ALDE Party Individual Members Steering Committee, Thalia Ntoka, who addressed that we should all feel European citizens, that many of our problems are common and there is a need to work together.
