On 11 October, several Heads of MEP Delegations from ALDE Party member parties from across Europe came together in Brussels to discuss key topics on the liberal agenda, including the upcoming election of the new president for the Renew Europe Group at the European Parliament.
ALDE Party acting co-Presidents Timmy Dooley and Ilhan Kyuchyuk highlighted the importance of this meeting saying:
βThe election of the new Renew Europe Group President is a key moment for the European liberal family ahead of the 2024 European elections. For this reason, we brought together Heads of Delegations from our member parties to discuss this topical item as well as other important matters on the liberal agenda. We are united in our approach when it comes to selecting the new leadership and look forward to the continued, fruitful cooperation with our group at the European Parliament.β
