On 17 May, International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, we discuss the current state of LGBTIQ+ rights in Hungary with Katalin Cseh, Member of the European Parliament for the Renew Europe Group, representing Hungary’s liberal party Momentum.
The date of 17 May was specifically chosen to commemorate the World Health Organization’s decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder.
