On 15-16 February, Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS-DDI), one of the ALDE members in Croatia, celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Welcomed by IDS-DDI leader Boris Miletić, ALDE Party President Hans van Baalen delivered a speech at the event, stressing the importance of IDS-DDI as a strong liberal partner in the region: “The Istrian society is an example of a multicultural and diverse society and its mixture of languages is a true example of how people can live together.”
Ivan Jakovčić (IFD Honorary President and former MEP), Marin Lerotić (President of IDS Youth), Sandra Ćakić Kuhar (President of IDS Women organisation) and Valter Flego MEP, among others, also attended the event.
