Ahead of the Congress, the delegates submit resolutions and amendments, which are drafted in a democratic and collective process. During the Congress, they have the right to take part in the meetings of the Congress and to voice their opinion in plenary and have the right to vote. According to the rules, delegates are expected to closely coordinate resolutions, amendments and voting decisions with the members of the Steering Committee.
What’s next? Thematical working groups have started organizing meetings throughout the month of February to start working on developing resolutions. Ahead of the ALDE Party Congress, members and associates will get to vote for which resolutions go to Congress.
