Individual members in Italy to vote on country coordinators

Individual members living in Italy will soon vote for their new country coordinators. There will be one coordinator for each of the five regions that are constituencies for the European elections: Centre, Islands, North-East, North-West, South.

On Thursday 19 April, paid-up members in Italy will receive in their e-mail inbox an online ballot at about 10h00 CET. That ballot will feature candidates from all five regions. The name of every candidate will be preceded by the name of the region for which they run. Members can choose one candidate from the list. The candidate with the highest number of votes in each of the five regions will be elected (relative majority).

The ALDE Party secretariat has received eight nominations by the deadline of 16 April (11h00CET), which all fulfil the nomination criteria and therefore are considered valid. Please find the eight candidates below in alphabetical order (of region and first name).

Please be aware of the following deadlines:

Thursday 26 April: Voting closes and results will be announced.
