The ALDE Party Secretariat has the pleasure to inform individual members about upcoming elections. In December, members will elect a new member of the Steering Committee.
Following the resignation of Robert Schliessler in October, the Steering Committee is seeking reinforcement. Every member who is up to date with his or her membership fee will be able to vote and can nominate her or himself for the by-election. Nominees need three other individual members to endorse their nomination.
You can nominate yourself until Monday 26 November 12h00 CET. To nominate send an e-mail to [email protected] with your name, a short motivation (max. 40 words) and a picture (as a separate file, attached). The endorsements for your candidature must be sent by the endorser also to [email protected] before the deadline of 26 November

Please find below a full overview of the deadlines for the upcoming election. Deadlines and timings are per the individual members internal rules.
Monday 26 November: Deadline nominations (12h00 CET)
by Wednesday 28 November: Official announcement candidates
Wednesday 5 December: Vote opens and all paid-up members will receive an e-mail to vote
Wednesday 12 December: Vote closes and announcement results
