Brussels Pride 2024: Celebrate the liberal way!

On Saturday 18 May, liberals in Belgium and across Europe will take to the streets for the Brussels Pride and show support for the LGBTQIA+ community in a celebration across the city. ALDE Party, Mouvement Réformateur, Open VLD and other liberal representatives will take a stand for freedom and equality and prove that love is love regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

Strack-Zimmermann: Europe, let's get uncomfortable

In an opinion piece published on POLITICO, ALDE Party lead candidate for the European elections Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann argues we need to step out of the comfort zone - and away from ‘false prophets’ of populist rhetoric - for prosperity, security and peace. "We have no time to be comfortable when so much is at stake: let’s dare to act," she writes.

USR kicks off EU and local election campaign

On 9 May, USR launched its election campaign in Timișoara, Romania, with the other members of the United Right Alliance ahead of local and European elections in June. Marking the occasion of Europe Day, USR, PMP and Forța Dreptei presented their priorities and vision for a modern and pro-European Romania.

NEOS ramp up EU campaign at Europe Week

NEOS celebrated “Europe Week” with a host of events as the party marked the start of the final few weeks of campaign ahead of the European elections in June. Led by lead candidate Helmut Brandstätter MP, NEOS campaigns for the federalisation of the EU and the establishment of a more harmonised approach to defence, security and EU foreign policy.
