Nagyová started working in Prague in 1992 while still studying at the University of Economics, Faculty of Business Administration in Košice. After completing her studies, she completed her doctorate in the field of transport at the Faculty of Transport. She completed a semester course on the economics of European integration in Brighton, United Kingdom. She also worked as an advisor to the then-Minister of Finance Andrej Babiš.

She entered politics in 2014, when after the elections she became a representative of the city of Jihlava for ANO 2011, being elected as the chairman of the Finance Committee.

In 2022, she was elected again as she ran in the municipal elections. Later that year, she also ran in the 2022 senate elections.
