Join our next Stakeholder Event on sustainable packaging

Over the past decade, packaging waste has increased by 20% globally, with a further 20% expected by 2030. Accounting for over 40% of plastics and 50% of paper materials, the EU has proposed revisions to existing legislation to tackle this increasing problem and help achieve sustainability goals.

However, a number of critical voices have emerged from the wider packaging supply chain in response to the proposed changes. They highlight that the proposed changes are counterproductive, leading to increased carbon emissions and water waste while exposing consumers to low-quality, non-sustainable materials.

During this event, we will examine the proposed revision of the Packaging and Packaging
Waste Directive. Speakers will discuss the proposed changes, what challenges can be expected and what alternatives methods can be recommended.
