LibDems continue to be the strongest Remain party

Since the Brexit referendum in 2016, ALDE Party member Liberal Democrats has been campaigning against the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union and have positioned themselves as the leading Remain party.

In Parliament, LibDems are working across party lines on emergency legislation to extend Article 50 and delay Brexit.

During the past weekend, MPs and MEPs from Liberal Democrats took part in several protests against the decision to suspend Parliament across the UK.

The Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament has expressed its solidarity with those defending public debate and scrutiny at a decisive point in the Brexit process and fully support the campaign of the LibDem MEPs.
