ALDE Party hosted a meeting of liberal culture ministers ahead of the Education, Youth, Culture and Sport Council of the EU on 16 May 2023. The meeting was moderated by ALDE Party Vice-President Kira Rudik MP.  

The participants discussed and shared views on the items on the EYCS Council agenda, such as the upcoming European Media Freedom Act, and the need for liberals to ensure media freedom in Europe and fight against disinformation in the context of the war in Ukraine.
