More than 250 European Liberal Democrats will come together from 27 to 28 April in Sofia, Bulgaria, for the ALDE Party Council.

The main focus this year will be the manifesto process for the 2019 European elections with a session dedicated to the manifesto, in which members of the Manifesto Drafting Committee will update and discuss with Council delegates about the expert forums and the next steps towards 2019.

In addition, delegates will also adopt urgent resolutions and welcome new member parties during the ALDE Party Council, as well as discuss topics such as the cohesion policy and the new enlargement strategy in fringe meetings.
