On 19 November, liberal leaders from across Europe reiterated their support for Ukraine on the 1,000th day of Putin’s full-scale invasion.
Since 24 February 2022, we have been standing with the Ukrainian people, through words and action, every step of the way.
Liberals governing in countries such as the Netherlands, Estonia and Belgium have continued to provide military support to ensure Ukraine can defend itself, while our Members of the European Parliament have constantly been pushing to unblock more EU funds to counter the invasion, including the release of frozen Russian assets.
Through various resolutions, including at the last Congress meeting in October, ALDE Party and our members have committed to take all possible steps to ensure Ukraine wins Putin’s war of aggression and is able to reconstruct the devastation inflicted by Russia with the latter’s own money.
