The European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) confirmed that Even Diot has been appointed as its new Secretary General ad interim, effective 14 October.
He takes over from Bàlint Gyévai, who has served as LYMEC Secretary General for a five-year tenure.
“With his vast experience, strategic vision, and dedication to our liberal mission, Even is set to lead LYMEC into a new era of growth, innovation, and collaboration,” said LYMEC.
In his prior experience, Even served as the Project Officer of the European Liberal Forum (ELF) and joined for a non-profit organisation in Brussels working on corruption issues at the European level.
The appointment will be officially confirmed following a vote by delegates at the upcoming LYMEC Congress in Warsaw, Poland, on 8-10 November.
