The Committee is chaired by the former Prime Minister of Estonia Taavi Rõivas (Reformierakond, Estonia) and consists of:

They aim to write an optimistic, innovative, fresh and even disruptive text that tackles the most relevant challenges of these days and that can inspire liberal democrats and their voters by offering a visionary for the future of Europe.

During the meeting, the group kept building up the draft Manifesto and considered the next steps on the road to its adoption at the ALDE Party Congress 2018 in Madrid.

Prior to its adoption, ALDE Party member parties will have the opportunity to propose amendments to the Manifesto as per the ALDE Party’s usual resolution procedure. The ALDE Party’s European Election Manifesto will be then voted on and adopted at the ALDE Party Congress taking place from 8-10 November in Madrid, Spain.
