During the past months, the Manifesto Drafting Committee met twice in Brussels to discuss the format and the top priorities for the ALDE Manifesto for the 2019 European elections.
At the same time, the ALDE Party – in cooperation with the European Liberal Forum (ELF) and other partner organisations – also organised a series of manifesto forums around Europe on topical matters and challenges facing the European Union. A total of ten manifesto forums on ten different topics were held in ten European cities bringing together experts, politicians and citizens. You can find out an overview of what was discussed here.
Before the summer break, the ALDE Manifesto Drafting Committee will meet again on coming Monday 9 July in Brussels to keep building up the draft Manifesto and consider the next steps on the road to the ALDE Party Congress 2018 in Madrid.
