Emma Wiesner
Field of expertise: Climate and sustainability
As a trained civil engineer with a background as an energy market analyst, Emma Wiesner stepped full-time into politics in 2021 as a Member of the European Parliament, becoming Sweden’s youngest-ever MEP at 28 years of age.
In Parliament, she is a full member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and the Committee on Fisheries. She was re-elected as an MEP in 2024 as Centerpartiet’s lead candidate.
Abir Al-Sahlani
Field of expertise: Foreign Affairs, equality, freedom
Abir Al-Sahlani was elected as Member of the Swedish Parliament in 2011 and again in 2019, when she left her seat in the Riksdag after being elected as a Member of the European Parliament for Centerpartiet.
In the European Parliament, she became Vice-Chair of Renew Europe and the European Parliament’s Committee on Development. Outside of the European Parliament, she is a member of Centerpartiet's Executive Board and Vice-President of Liberal International.
