Helmut Brandstätter

Helmut Brandstätter has an impressive past as a journalist and Member of Parliament. His heart beats for a united Europe, which he has personally experienced in all its facets. From the negotiations with Spain and Portugal to German reunification to the admission of the former communist countries - Brandstätter has accompanied Europe through change.
His professional background is as a journalist at ORF between 1982-1997, followed by Managing Director at the n-tv news channel (1997-2003) and editor-in-chief and publisher at KURIER (2010-2019). In 2024, he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament as NEOS’ lead candidate.
Anna Stürgkh
Field of expertise: Foreign Affairs
Anna Stürgkh began her career as a parliamentary assistant, subsequently becoming responsible for the Youth Election Campaign Management at NEOS. She then started working in Volunteer Management at Sinbad Vienna before becoming chair of JUNOS, the youth wing of NEOS.
In 2022 she joined the ALDE Party Manifesto Drafting Committee, a group of experts in charge of drafting and preparing the ALDE Party Manifesto ahead of the 2024 European elections, where was elected as an MEP for NEOS being second place on the party’s list of candidates.
