Sigrid Friis
Field of expertise: Energy policy and green transition
Sigrid Friis became a member of Radikal Ungdom, Radikale Venstre’s youth wing, in 2013 and became its chair in 2017. In this position, among other things, she brought Radikal Ungdom into the work with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2020, she was one of the co-founders of the #enblandtos movement, seen as part of the second wave of the #MeToo movement in Denmark. In the 2024 European elections, she was elected as an MEP for Radikale Venstre as the party’s lead candidate.
