Well, it shouldn’t be the case in a single market and we think it needs to change. Too often, smaller retailers and individual consumers pay way too much for cross-border parcel delivery without really knowing which delivery options are available.

In this week's plenary session in the European Parliament, the ALDE Group has pushed for measures to increase transparency, and to encourage competition, in order to reduce unjustified tariff differences between national and cross-border parcel delivery services. Because improving access for consumers and businesses to online goods and services in the EU is about your freedom to choose.
