Since 2015, the ALDE Party Secretariat has organised over 30 ministerial meetings in close collaboration with our group in the European Parliament. During the meetings, Ministers discuss and share views on the items on the Council agenda.

Ministerial meetings have been organised ahead of AGRIFISH, ECOFIN, ENERGY, TELECOM, ENVI, JHA (Justice), Defence (FAC) and GAC Council formations.

In 2021, during the Portuguese presidency, the ALDE Party organised 7 Ministerial meetings and with the ongoing Slovenian presidency, the Secretariat is planning to organise the following meetings:

3rd ECOFIN on 9 November 2021

12th AGRIFISH on 15 November 2021

2nd FAC (Defence) on 16 November 2021

2nd GAC on 23 November 2021

2nd COMPET on 25 November2021

4th TELECOM on 3 December 2021

2nd JHA (Justice) on 9 December 2021

2nd ENVI on 20 December 2021
