Momentum Mozgalom

Party Leader: Anna Júlia Donáth

Momentum Mozgalom ("Momentum Movement") was founded in 2015 as an association led by Dániel Károly Csala. After their protest on Budapest’s bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics they became an official political party and started to campaign for elections. They just missed the threshold in the 2018 National elections Momentum, but subsequently became the 3rd biggest Hungarian party at the 2019 European elections and won in the local elections. In 2024, Anna Júlia Donáth replaced Ferenc Gelencsér as party leader.
