
On 24 March, Mouvement Réformateur – ALDE Party member in Belgium – hosted its party congress ahead of the upcoming regional, federal and European elections, all to be held on 26 May.
The Prime Minister of Belgium Charles Michel in his speech addressed questions of national importance, such as security, mobility, migration, climate change and agriculture.
“We want a stable, prosperous and innovative country,” he said.
Olivier Chastel, MR’s head of list for the European Parliament elections, commented: “We do not need more Europe, but better Europe.”
He also highlighted the important role Europe plays in the fight against climate change.
